On January 15, 2021, Shenzhen Weishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. received an invitation from Mr. Zhong, the department manager of a pipeline cleaning company, to visit and conduct testing, exchange, and on-site analysis. Weishi Optoelectronic is a professional company dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions for modular factories, smart factories, and compliant factories for the pharmaceutical, daily chemical, food, and related industries.

The customer had previously used a foreign industrial endoscope brand but it got damaged due to frequent on-site usage. Due to high maintenance costs and long turnaround time for repairs abroad, coupled with the rise of domestic alternatives, the customer was looking for a cost-effective domestic endoscope for replacement. Therefore, the customer's engineers compared the products of multiple domestic industrial endoscope manufacturers and ultimately wished to have a more in-depth understanding and on-site evaluation of the industrial endoscope products of Shenzhen Weishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Mr. Liu, the manager of the technical and engineering departments, was responsible for the main coordination. After our technical personnel explained the product and had a communication session on-site, Mr. Liu also personally operated the WS-K series industrial endoscope and affirmed the device's clarity and other functions. After detailed communication and understanding, the following customer requirements were identified:

  Customer Expectations:

1.High clarity requirement for the industrial endoscope, not less than one million pixels, comparable to well-known foreign endoscope brands.

2.Due to the large amount of imaging, the equipment needs to have a certain amount of internal storage space and the ability to conveniently export files.

  Actual Inspection Conditions:

3.Made of welded 304 stainless steel.

4.Observation section length of 6 meters, small entrance for inspection, large internal cavity, and highly illuminated inner wall.

5.Extrusion groove diameter ranges from 7 to 50mm, mainly inspecting the welding portion of the flow channel, requiring clear observation of welding defects, weld tumors, burrs, corrosions, and other quality issues.

  Inspection Challenges:

6.Small entrance for inspection, but large inner cavity.

7.Presence of medication residue in the cavity.

8.Highly illuminated stainless steel cavity with reflection at the welding points.

After further communication, we recommended that the customer adopt the WS-K series million-pixel high-definition intelligent product, which automatically handles exposure to solve the reflection phenomenon on the welding surface and achieves high illuminance.

Features of WS-K Series Million-Pixel High-Definition Intelligent Endoscope:

9.One million pixels provide clear visualization, meeting the requirements for observing pipeline cleanliness in pharmaceutical production lines, detecting defects such as welding scars and internal debris in castings, and effectively solving the reflection issue in casting flow channels. It allows for intuitive and clear judgment of the observed sections and provides clear images and videos for archiving.

10.It has a built-in 32GB memory card to prevent data loss and also supports USB and VGA video output for point-to-point connections.

The WS-K Million-Pixel HD Intelligent Series - Industrial Video Endoscope enables fast and thorough visual inspection of stainless steel pipelines and meets the customer's demand for the ability to enter a larger cavity through a narrow entrance for inspection. The customer was very satisfied with the service provided, and the acceptance was completed on-site, establishing a good foundation for long-term cooperation between both parties. Shenzhen Weishi Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. is honored to serve the company, and we have also learned a lot during this process.
