The requirement is to conduct fast inspections to promptly identify the completeness of internal welds, the presence of any excess materials, and the uniformity of paint coatings through visual inspections.
Solution: Using the WS-Y6010050 Intelligent Million HD Series - Industrial Video Endoscope with a diameter of 6mm and a length of 5 meters, featuring a 360-degree omnidirectional articulation capability and the ability to achieve a 160-degree reverse visual inspection. Due to the large internal space of the locomotive track brackets and the long testing path, a 5-meter length was chosen, which is relatively long for an endoscope. Normally, lengths below 3 meters are preferred. The endoscope's posterior LED probe requires specific manufacturing processes. This solution enables fast and flexible inspections, allowing for quick marking and differentiation of the inspection videos or images of each track bracket. Watermarking can be applied to facilitate subsequent reports, image comparisons, and traceability.
